This woman is committed to education, in all its forms.
Co-Funding For The Love Of with her has been a great journey for both of us.
Moniques combination of creativity and business nous is a powerful tool on the education stage, as it enables her to connect hairdressers at every level of their career – from apprentices all the way up to managing director.
She has a genuine empathy with the challenges faced as we move through our careers and is open hearted enough to be able to honestly share her own experiences to benefit others, even the sticker moments.
Rokstar Salon
I have had the pleasure of having Monique in my salon twice now for colour education with my team. As an educator Monique goes above and beyond to execute the best technical skills and knowledge whilst mentoring and nurturing all levels of skill sets.
I believe Monique’s understanding of business and owning a salon whilst working on the floor with her own clientele and training her own team is what makes her so real as a educator. She invests in herself to deliver the best she can, and she is someone I will always trust to excite and deliver the latest techniques to my team.
Monique is a very deserving applicant for Educator of the Year because she leads with her heart and is the exact representation of what our industry should be. I have watched from a far and up close as she brings hairdressers together and collaborates with other artists in order to share more education and better the industry. I look forward to seeing what the future holds for Monique as I know it will be exciting.
One thing’s for sure, she will always be a part of my salon’s yearly education calendar.
